U.S. PUBLIC LAND SURVEY MONUMENT RECORD <br />I N S T R U C T 10 N S: This record shall show the location of the corner and shall <br />include all of the following nine elements (a through i). <br />(a) Identify the corner by reference to the U.S. Public Land Survey System. <br />= Corner monument restored. <br />05 04 <br />08 09 <br />SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SECTION 05, <br />TOWNSHIP 06 NORTH, RANGE 08 EAST, <br />TOWN OF VERONA, DANE COUNTY, WISCONSIN <br />fi fi fi <br />+-05-+ <br />(b) Describe any record evidence, monument evidence, occupational evidence, testimonial evidence, or any <br />other material evidence you considered, and whether the monument was found or placed. <br />I found or Aluminum Monument 5 "f below the asphalt pavement surface per tie sheet by Carl M. Sondsness, dated <br />November 1, 1998. I found the northeasterly, easterly, and southeasterly 1 —%4" solid iron rods as referenced on said <br />tie sheet. I accepted the Aluminum Monument (see picture), tied into the I Y4" rods, and placed one (1) tie as <br />referenced below. Date of field survey & monument recovery was February 15, 2016. Elevations provided on section <br />corners are based upon the NA UD88 Datum. <br />(c) In the plan view drawing below, provide reference ties to at least 4 witness monuments. (Witness <br />monuments shall be made of concrete, natural stone, iron, or other equally durable material.) Describe <br />witness monuments. <br />(d) Show a plan view drawing depicting the relevant monuments and reference ties which is sufficient in detail <br />to enable accurate relocation of the corner monument if the comer monument is disturbed.
