The location is <br /> approximately 7.7'east of an existing North-South fence and is at the intersection of the North-South and <br /> East-West quarter section lines. Surveys in the area all refer to the North-South and East-West section lines <br /> as straight lines and do not call out the center. Irons were verified with the properties to the south which also <br /> fell approximately 6' east of the fenceline. A survey completed on July 30, 1969 by George Weir as survey no. <br /> 6561-L shows the existing fenceline westerly of the North-South quarter section line. The location of the <br /> intersection of the North-South and East-West quarter section lines was accepted and the 1 1/4" Iron Bar was <br /> set approximately 15" below grade due to the location on the edge of a plowed field.
