MM and being 2" <br /> below the existing asphalt surface. Three of the previous reference ties as shown by both Doyle and Paulson <br /> were recovered and checked well. The location of the Dane County Monument was accepted based on <br /> verification of the existing ties and as used in previous surveys in the area.
