The North 1/4 <br /> corner for Section 3, Porter Township, Rock County was not found. The 1" Iron Pipe is noted by Glen <br /> Northrop in 1994 for CSM No. 7608 and the distance shown on the CSM between the North and South 1/4 <br /> corners matches well. The location of the 1" Iron Pipe was accepted based on being used in surveys in the <br /> area and as mentioned in Barnes tie sheet as well as the measured distances between adjacent section <br /> corners according to the surveys.
