Three of the previous <br /> reference ties as shown by the tie sheet from Clayton in 1981 were recovered and checked reasonably well. <br /> The monument location has been used in other surveys in the area. The location of the Aluminum Monument <br /> was accepted based on the verification of existing reference ties and use in surveys in the area.
