A Dane County Stainless Steel monument was set at the corner approximately 1' <br /> below the existing grade in a field. The location was set based on the found monument called out on CSM No. <br /> 11611. Distances match to the adjacent section corners based on the CSM and the distance to the Southwest <br /> 1/4 corner checks relatively well from George Weirs map no. 5017 from 1965. CSM No. 11611 is not holding <br /> the monument located at the center of Section 15 however is tied to the other section corners that we have <br /> located as well and was used as the basis for the location of the South 1/4 corner. The location is <br /> approximately 11.5' North and 15.0' East of the midpoint of the line between the Southwest and Southeast <br /> corners of Section 15.
