The aluminum <br /> monument for the North 1/4 corner of Section 2, Porter Township, Rock County was found along with a <br /> previous 1 1/4" Iron Pipe used as the North 1/4 corner for Section 2. Monuments checked well between them <br /> based on the previous tie sheets. The location of the 2" Iron Pipe was accepted based on the verification <br /> between the corner and the Rock County corner, distances between the adjacent section corners and use in <br /> surveys in the area.
