Zoning Committee Members,

The nature of this email is to inform you about the outcome of the meeting held
on Thur. July 3rd. It was agreed upon that Ed would present the Zoning Plan to
the Southdale Neighborhood Association on July 3rd at 6:00 p.m. The
neighborhood association was very vocal about needing sometime to absorb all
of the information presented to them that night. I learned today, that members of
the association would not be able to attend a meeting with Pastor Smith-
SMPC Representative along with Ed to discuss the Community Benefits
Ag reement.

I am not prepared to make a recommendation for several reasons:
1. Zoning Administrator-Roger is still on vacation and I would feel more
comfortable with an objective opinion from Roger.
2. A follow-up meeting is scheduled for Fri, July 11th at 8:00 a.m.
3. The Association is still meeting to make recommendations

In conclusion, it is apparent that is difficult to make a recommendation when in
fact, discussions are still occurring. I am hopeful that a recommendation would
be made in time for the July 17th County Board Meeting. I thank the Zoning
Committtee for your time and efforts during this process.

Sincerely,

Shelia Stubbs
Dane County Board of Supervisor
District 23-South Madison
T: 608-223-1684
C:608-345-6961
