The COntractOr is,feSpQnsib1e','ror constnJction alld maintaining all erosion control fences <br />and other erosion cOntrOl measures until final acceptance of the work and the seeded <br />areas are well established. <br />2. Erosion conlrol measures shall be constructed prior 10 the commencement of other <br />construction. <br />S. All disluJbed area. shall be re-topsoiled to a minimum 6~nch depth, seeded. fertilized, <br />and mulched by the Contractor prior to final acceptance of the work. Sloped 3:1 and <br />greater shall be covered with Class 11 Type B Erosion malting and polymer. <br />4. The Contractor shall fumish and insJall erosion bales in accordance with the Delail <br />Drawings at locations shown. <br />5. The existing gravel driveway shan be used as the construction entrance and trael<ing pad. <br />The Contractor shan clean. seape or sweep all tracked soil from roadways at the end of <br />each work day. <br />6. All diSlUlbed areas shall be seeded with OIds Lawn See. Quick-To-Gro blend, or equa~ at <br />the rate of 4 lb.. per 1000 square feet Prior to seeding, the topsoil shan be thoroughly <br />loosened by disl<ing or other means, fertilized with10.11l.11l fertilizer at the rate of 51bs. <br />per 1000,squarefeet and mulched With dean straw mulch to a foosedepthof %" to 1 %'1_ <br />and at the rate of1.5 tons/acre. Mulch shaH be punched into the soil to a minimum depth <br />of2" using a mulch liner while traveling on the conlOur. <br />7. Silt fence or erosion bales shall be inslaHed around the downstream edges of all topsoil <br />st_piles. All tOpsoil s1od<piles remaining for longer than a ten (11l) dey period shall be <br />temporarily mulched by lhe Contractor. <br />S Temporary mulch shall be placed if disturbed areas will not be restored immediately after <br />rough grading. <br />9.
