Building is a ''Wick'' Building, Designed for 30 P8F ground snow load and 90 MPH <br />(3 sec gust) wind load, assuming 2000 psf soli bearing. An unbalanced snow load <br />was designed per Wisconsin alternate standard evaluation. Bearing Capacity <br />Adjustment made per EP486.1 (2000) <br /> <br />2. Lumber: 1650 MSR Spruce Pine Fir or equivalent, unless noted otherwise on <br />drawings. <br /> <br />3. Concrete Strength: 4000 psi in 28 days, slump not over 4" Ready-mix concrete to <br />meet ASTM C94. <br /> <br />4. Cover Reinforcing: Steel with concrete, 3" next to ground, 2" in foundation wall <br />forms, lap reinforcing steel bars 24 bar diameters and mesh 12". Steel <br />reinforcement to be grade 60. <br /> <br />5. Finishing and Curing Concrete: Keep wall forms on 24 hours before stripping. Keep <br />floors covered with watertight membrane 3 days, or use curing compound. Steel <br />trowel all floors to a dense finish, lightly broom for non-slip surface. <br /> <br />6. Concrete Temperature: Maintain concrete temperature above 50 degrees for 72 <br />hours. <br /> <br />7. Fill: Compacted fill shall be granule material, free of debris and stones over 4" and <br />reasonably graded. No frozen materials w!ll be allowed. <br /> <br />8. Compaction: Strip topsoil and other organic material prior to placing fill. Place fill in <br />9" loose lifts and compact with suitable mechanical equipment to a density 95010 of <br />maximum density. <br /> <br />9. Grades: Slope all grade away from building for adequate drainage. <br /> <br />10. Exits: Exit and exit access doors must be marked with approved exit sign visible <br />from any direction of egress travel. Exit signs must be illuminated at all times and <br />provided with a system to insure 90 minute illumination in case of power outage. <br />Exit signs to comply with section 1003.2.10 of the Wisconsin building code. Exit <br />signs are not required in areas where a single exit is acceptable. Exit lights to be <br />supplied and installed by non-Wick contractor. <br /> <br />11. Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning: NOT part of this drawing and shall be as <br />approved by local building officials. <br /> <br />12. Plumbing: NOT part of this drawing and shall be installed in accordance with any <br />local codes. <br /> <br />13. Electrical: NOT part of this drawing and shall be installed in accordance with the <br />National Electrical Code and any local codes. <br /> <br />14. Heating Equipment & Water Heaters: NOT part of this drawing and shall be as <br />approved by local building officials. <br /> <br />15. This building will NOT have lighting installed until State approval is acquired. <br /> <br />16.
