Vincent: The above ground swimming pool is
located directly over the replacement private sewage system area.
The state plumbing code would require a minimum 15 foot separa-
tion between the pool and the replacement area. The previous
owner had received a variance from DILHR to allow the non-
complying condition of the previous pool. Since the variance
is not transferable and the new pool could have been placed
in a code complying location this office would be in favor of
requiring a code complying location for the pool.
#2053 Appeal by Mt. Horeb VFW: This facility is served by a holding
tank system. The system was designed to serve the existing
club house and a two bedroom mobile home also on the property.
This system does not have the excess capacity to allow for any
expansion of the facility. Therefore this office would object
to the proposed addition until code complying sanitary
facilities are provided.
James P.
