Dane County Planning & Development
>< l % Division of Zoning
Joe Parisi
Dane County Executive
October 31, 2014
RE: Navigability Determination—East of 4200 Schneider Dr, Section 2, Town of Dunn
The Dane County Zoning Division has made a navigability determination for an unnamed
intermittent stream that is located east of 4200 Schneider Dr and north of Schneider Dr.
Before making the determination, the 24K U.S.G.S. Topographic map, 2014 aerial photography,
Google and Bing Maps, and GIS data were used to investigate this waterway. The map shows
that there is an intermittent stream that may be located on or near the property. An intermittent
stream is one that has a periodic or recurrent flow.
After further review of the waterway, it has been determined that this intermittent stream is NOT
navigable.
This letter serves as notice that the future development that will occur at 4200 Schneider Dr is
NOT within the Shoreland Zoning District as defined under Chapter 11, Dane County Code of
Ordinances.
I hope you find this information helpful. If you have any questions regarding this matter, or if I
may be of further assistance, please feel free to contact me directly.
Sincer- y,
Hans Hilbert
Assistant Zoning Administrator
Cc:
Land & Water Resources
210 Martin Luther King Jr.Blvd.❖Room 116,City-County Bldg. ❖Madison,WI 53703-3342•A Phone:608.266.4266• Fax:608.267.1540
www.countyofdane.com/zoning
