WINDSOR TOWN BOARD <br /> RESOLUTION 2014-66 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING ON-SITE LIGHTED PYLON SiGN FOR THE MINi- <br /> WAREHOUSE REDEVELOPMENT LOCA'T'ED AT 7646 AND 7652 CONIFER COURT, <br /> IN THE TOWN OF WINDSOR, DANE COUNTY, WISCONSIN. <br /> (Bill Kippley dba Kippley Rental Properties, LLC,as Owacr/I'etitionerj <br /> WHEREAS, Bill Kippley dba Kippley Rental Properties, LLC, as Owner/Petitioner <br /> (collectively, "Petitioner"), having received site plan approval for a mini-warehouse <br /> redevelopment at 7646 and 7652 Conifer Court, is requesting approval of an on-site lighted <br /> pylon sign(the"Sign")to be installed in conjunction with his redevelopment project; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Town Planner has reviewed the Petitioner's request, and set forth his <br /> recommendations for the Plan Commission in a staff report dated October 6, 2014 and for the <br /> Town Board in a staff report dated October 23, 2014 (collectively herein, "Staff Report"), which <br /> are incorporated herein by reference, and recommends conditional approval subject to the <br /> conditions set forth in the Staff Report dated October 23, 2014; and <br /> WHEREAS, following review and consideration of input at the Plan Commission <br /> meeting, the Plan Commission recommended approval of the Sign, as set forth in Plan <br /> Commission Resolution 2014-26; and <br /> WHEREAS, following consideration of the foregoing, the Town Board wishes to <br /> approve the Sign on the terms and conditions set forth herein, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the 'Town Board of the Town of <br /> Windsor as follows: <br /> The Town of Windsor Town Board recommends approval ofthe Sign, subject to the following: <br /> 1 1. At a minimum, the Sign shall meet all of the requirements set forth in the Dane County <br /> Code of Ordinances. The proposed on-premise pylon sign meets the requirements of <br /> Subchapter 11, Chapter 10 of the Dane County Code of Ordinances. Such requirements <br /> for an on-premise pylon sign in the C-2 Heavy Commercial zoning district where the <br /> maximum permissible speed on the adjacent highway (i.e. CTI-I V) is between 36 and <br /> 45 miles per hour are as follows: <br /> 1.1. The maximum size shall not exceed 200 SF. <br /> 1.2. The maximum height shall not exceed 35'. For a pylon sign, the height will be <br /> measured from the elevation of the centerline of the adjacent road to the top of <br /> the sign. <br /> 1.3.
