Klinkner, Patrick
From: Griffin, Michael <MGriffin @publichealthmdc.com>
Sent: Thursday, October 23, 2014 8:16 AM
To: Klinkner, Patrick
Subject: FW:Zoning Permit Renewal - Septic System Question
As per our phone conversation this property has a 4 bedroom septic system which is the maximum number of bedrooms
allowed.
From: Joe Klimczak [mailto:joe@ caveofthemounds.com]
Sent: Tuesday, October 21, 2014 4:18 PM
To: Griffin, Michael
Subject: Zoning Permit Renewal - Septic System Question
Hello Mike,
I have a new home under construction in the Town of Blue Mounds. Various delays have resulted in the
construction occurring two stages. So, I now need to renew my zoning permit with Dane County.
The first stage, partially completed, is two levels with a garage below and a single bedroom and living space
above it. The second stage, for which I am renewing the zoning permit, will include another bedroom, some
living space and a deck. (The second stage is scaled back from the original plan of a couple years ago.)
Pat Klinkner from Dane County Zoning asked that I contact you to verify that the second stage of my
construction conforms to my septic plan prior to zoning permit renewal. The septic system constructed (permit
# 13-2011-04224) was designed for a four bedroom house. The final house will be a two bedroom (the existing
one plus the planned second stage of construction.) So, we anticipate that he can proceed with the zoning
permit renewal without complication from the septic. Would you please confirm that for me.
Thanks in advance for your help, and please call or email with questions. (mobile 608-345-3039).
