Our wall sign regulations state a wall sign must fit
inside a signable area, and signable areas on parapet walls can't extend more than 4' above the roofline. The size of the
sign is conforming but the sign will need to be installed so no part of the sign extends above 4' above the roofline.
The Subway wall sign on sheet 3 is approvable.
The TA sign is not approvable. It would be considered an above roof sign and those are only allow in industrial zoning
districts. Gas station/convenience store is not a permitted use in those districts.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
Dan McAuliffe
Zoning Officer 1
City of Madison
Madison Municipal Building Suite LL-100
215 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd
Madison,WI 53701
608.261.9679
From: BL SIGNS [mailto:blsignagegmail.com]
Sent: Thursday, January 15, 2015 8:40 AM
To: McAuliffe, Daniel
Subject: Re: Contact info
Dan,
Thank you.
Attached is the sign drawings.
