QUAM ENGINEERING, LLC <br /> Residential and Commercial Site Design Consultants <br /> 11111/111■1- 11110.- <br /> January 12,2015 <br /> Dane County Water Resource Engineering Division <br /> Attn: Ryan Shore <br /> 5201 Fen Oak Drive <br /> Madison,WI 53718 <br /> Re: 2766 Tower Road Addition—Town of Dunn <br /> Dear Mr. Shore, <br /> Enclosed are the following documents for the above referenced project.The documents are being <br /> submitted to address the Shoreland Erosion Control Plan for a 586 square-foot building/deck addition to <br /> an existing home,part of which is within 300 feet of the OHWM of Lake Waubesa. <br /> 1) Erosion Control Permit Application and Fee; <br /> 2) Location Map; <br /> 3) Erosion Control Plan; <br /> 4) Cost Estimate; <br /> 5) Universal Soil Loss Equation(USLE)worksheets; and <br /> 6) Open Channel Flow Velocity/Depth Calculation. <br /> The erosion control measures for the addition will meet the performance standards as defined in the Dane <br /> County Ordinance as follows: <br /> Erosion Control <br /> The proposed construction shall include erosion control measures to prevent gully and bank erosion <br /> and limit total off-site erosion to less than 7.5 tons per acre per year. <br /> All runoff during construction shall be directed to flow through erosion control measures as shown on the <br /> Grading and Erosion Control Plan to reduce the soil loss to under 7.5 tons/acre/year as shown on the <br /> USLE. <br /> Outlets <br /> Discharges from the site must have a stable outlet capable of carrying the designed flow at a non- <br /> erosive velocity. <br /> Stormwater runoff from the site will be directed to restored lawn areas which are capable of carrying the <br /> stormwater runoff from the site at a non-erosive velocity. <br /> Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> -----es-tocN ZA..1.,1 <br /> Ryan Quam,P.E. <br /> CC:Justin Minor w/enc.
