` .44 Land Conservation Division
- Dane County Land&Water Resources Department
S-0. Patrick J.Sutter,County Conservationist
QorA
INFORMATION FOR THOSE OBTAINING EROSION CONTROL
& STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PERMITS
Read the permit approval letter and understand the conditions under which
the permit was approved.
The permit will expire on the stabilization date shown on the permit card.
The permit may only be revised or extended prior to the expiration date with
the written approval of D.C. Land Conservation.
Once a permit expires it is null and void. If the site has not been stabilized by
the expiration date a new permit will be required. Double fees will be charged
for all remaining disturbed areas.
The failure to comply with the conditions of the permit will be considered a
violation of County Ordinance and may result in a "stop work order", citations
and fines for each day the site is in violation.
The permit is for land disturbing activities regulated under Dane County
Chapters 11 or 14 only. Other municipal, county, state or federal permits may
be required.
"As-built" plans for Stormwater Management Permits must be submitted to
the Land Conservation Division after site stabilization. All stormwater
management practices must be in place prior to permit close out and "Letter
of Credit" release.
Lyman F.Anderson Agriculture&Conservation Center
1 Fen Oak Court,Room 208,Madison,Wisconsin 53718-8812-PH:608/224-3730,FAX:608/224-3745
www.countyofdane.com/landconservation
