U.S. PUBLIC LAND SURVEY MONUMENT RECORD
(a) Identify the corner by reference to the 21 jr21 T5 N
U.S. Public Land Survey System
NORTH 1/4 CORNER, SECTION 28, T5N, R1OE 28 28 R1 OE
FOUND DANE COUNTY ALUMINUM MONUMENT
DATE OF SURVEY: MARCH 20, 2015
(b) Describe any record evidence, monument evidence, occupational evidence, testimonial evidence or any other material evidence
you considered, and weather the monument was found or placed.
I found a Dane County Aluminum monument in good condition at the North 1/4
Corner of Section 28, T5N , R10E. This monument was set and referenced by
Richard L. Schaut in 1988. Schaut referenced a previous monument record by
A. Sandsnes, dated 1972. I was unable to find that monument record at the
Dane County Surveyor's office. I found three of the four witness monuments
set by Schaut. I accepted the aluminum monument as the 1/4 corner and set
one additional witness monument as shown below.
(c) In the plan view below, provide reference ties to at least 4 witness monuments. (Witness monuments shall be made of
concrete, material stone, iron or other equally durable material.) Describe witness monuments.
(d) Show a plan view drawing
depicting the relevant
monuments and reference ties
which is sufficient in detail to
enable accurate relocation of Q
the corner monument if the \ I
corner monument is disturbed. \ Q x
Indicate north.
