The
existing barn is in poor condition and will be removed and a larger structure will be constructed in its location. The
existing barn is approximately 3,310 Sq.Ft.and the proposed barn area will be approximately 5,613 Sq.Ft.
The water from the existing and proposed site drains from west to east. It then reaches a low area of the lot and drains
south.
To prevent tracking onto existing pavement and concrete drives, a construction entrance will be installed on the east side
of the driveway near the construction area. All construction equipment must exit through the construction entrance.
Prior to any land disturbing activity, all sedimentation and erosion control measures will be installed, including the stone
construction entrance and silt fence.During construction, all sedimentation and erosion control items will be maintained for
maximum effectiveness. The stone construction entrance will have stone replacement when debris inhibit the effectiveness,
or as directed by the engineer or Town of Blue Mounds. Sediment intercepted by the silt fence will be removed, cleaned,
and replaced when sediment levels reach a depth of approximately one-half(1/2)foot.
All pervious areas disturbed during construction will be restored with a minimum of six inches of topsoil, fertilizer, seed,
and mulch within seven days of final grading. The seed shall be a mixture in accordance with the Town of Blue Mounds
standards. The mixtures shall be applied at a minimum rate of 5 pounds per one-thousand square feet. The seed mixture
will be applied to scarified areas on all disturbed grounds, excluding impervious areas, and raked in to promote
germination.
All runoff during construction shall be directed to flow through the sedimentation control measures shown on the erosion
control plan. Erosion Control measures have been designed to prevent gully and bank erosion, limit the soil loss rate to 7.5
tons per acre annually, and regulate soil transportation within the boundaries of the project site(Exhibit B)
Also attached is Exhibit C which contains the itemized erosion control plan implementation cost.
