Allan, Majid
From: Allan, Majid
Sent: Thursday, July 24, 2014 4:28 PM
To: 'Troy A. Mayne'
Cc: 'VVance @weatrust.com'; Lane, Roger
Subject: RE: Call regarding WEA Trust Rezoning (petition 10698)
Hi Troy,
Good speaking with you yesterday. Just wanted to touch base to let you know that we'd need to know how you'd like to
proceed no later than Wednesday, August 6th in order to place the petition on the August 12th ZLR agenda.
I am hopeful that your client will agree that it makes sense to clean up the zoning on the various other WEA Insurance
properties and to consolidate them in the CSM. If there's still a concern about the buyer backing out, I believe adding a
3rd lot to the CSM to consolidate the tax parcels at the southwestern portion of the property(off Holtzmann Rd) would
be a reasonable hedge.
Again, please get back to me at your earliest convenience and let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Majid
From: Allan, Majid
Sent: Tuesday, July 15, 2014 1:00 PM
To: Troy A. Mayne'
Cc: Wance @weatrust.com; Lane, Roger
Subject: RE: Call regarding WEA Trust Rezoning?
Hi Troy,
I wanted to catch up with you on the WEA trust property and find out where you're at in terms of changing the zoning
the zoning request to B-1. I also wanted to detail the issues we've discovered with the various tax parcels comprising
the WEA properties.
Below is a listing of the parcels owned by either WEA or WEA Insurance Trust (there are several shown as "WEA
Insurance Trust", and several unimproved parcels shown as "Wisconsin Education Association Insurance Trust", but I
think that's a distinction without a difference). The list includes the size, legal description "type" (CSM or metes&
bounds), and current use. Ideally, we'd like to see these all cleaned up so that the parcels are zoned appropriately for
the use(s) and also consolidated together in the proposed 2 lot CSM.
WEA Insurance Trust Parcels:
070936190406=3.306 acres(metes& bounds; zoned C-2; use= parking lot)
070936188302 = .287 acres(metes& bounds; zoned C-2; use = parking lot)
070936196750= 12.34 acres (lot 1 CSM 11532; zoned B-1 & C-2; WEA Insurance buildings& parking lot) (subject of
current rezone petition)
Wisconsin Education Association Insurance Trust Parcels:
070936194457= .37 acres(metes& bounds; zoned C-1; use = unimproved/open space?)
070936194359= .186 acres (metes& bounds; zoned B-1; use = unimproved/open space?)
1
