r Water Resource Engineering Division
,I Dane County Land&Water Resources Department
X1939.;
gS ` Jeremy Balousek,P.E.,Division Manager
DATE: July 25, 2014
TO: Bob and Heather Wahlin
Owners
FROM: Josh Harder
Erosion Control Engineer
RE: 1989 Skyline Drive—Shoreland Erosion Control Permit,SE2014-0061
The submitted shoreland erosion control plan meets the needs of the site. The plan includes
the following requirements:
1. The site will be accessed from Skyline Drive using the existing driveway. The entrance
must be maintained in a manner that prevents material from reaching the roadway. If
material is tracked onto public roads, access must be restricted, material must be
removed immediately and the tracking controls must be improved prior to resuming
construction.
2. Silt sock or silt fence will be installed prior to grading in the locations shown on the plan.
Perimeter sediment controls must be utilized and maintained for the duration of land
disturbing activities and removed promptly after the site is stabilized.
3. Disturbed areas within 20' of foundation shall have heavy wood mulched placed within
1 week of disturbance. The mulch cover will be maintained for the duration of
construction, until final restoration and stabilization occurs.
4. Disturbed areas shall be temporarily mulched within 5 days and permanently restored
within 2 weeks.
5. Grading must be confined to the areas shown on the plan. No material storage, vehicle
traffic or grading may occur outside the "limits of disturbance" identified on the plan.
The plan must be revised to include additional erosion control measures in the event
that any of these areas are disturbed.
6. The plan includes a construction schedule as follows:
Grading and construction is planned to begin upon receipt of all required permits.
Lyman F.Anderson Agriculture&Conservation Center
5201 Fen Oak Drive,Room 208,Madison,Wisconsin 53718 -PH:608/224-3730,FAX:608/224-3745
www.countyofdane.com/lwrd
