The system consists of a 1,000 gallon septic tank and a drainfield, At <br /> the time of service the septic tank appeared to be operating at the correct level. There <br /> were not any cracks in the septic tank. The baffles were solid and in place. There are not <br /> any drainfield vents visible. There was not any surface ponding around the septic system <br /> or the assumed drainfield area. The manhole cover for the septic tank is buried so <br /> locking chains,a lock and a warning label are not required <br /> There is no information available through Dane County Public Health Department <br /> regarding the age of this septic system. <br /> This inspection is an observation based on the date listed above.
