U.S. PUBLIC LAND SURVEY MONUMENT RECORD <br /> (a) Identify the corner by reference to the 16 jr 16 <br /> U.S. Public Land Survey System T7N <br /> Center of Section 16, T7N, R6E, Town R6E <br /> of Vermont, Dane County, Wisconsin. 16 16 <br /> Date of survey: June 16, 2015 <br /> (b) Describe any record evidence, monument evidence, occupational evidence, testimonial evidence or any other material evidence <br /> you considered, and weather the monument was found or placed. <br /> I found a 3/4" rebar at the Center of Section 16, T7N, R6E, presumably set by <br /> Herman Hovelsrud (map dated December 14, 1973). Bruce Bowden, on a map filed <br /> as 95-0379 in the Dane County Surveyor's office used this corner and indicated that <br /> this rebar is within allowable tollerances for the Center of Section 16 by equal <br /> distance division, which is the method originally recorded in Dane County records", <br /> (survey by J. D. Coryell, dated May 13, 1861). Other surveys within Section 16 have <br /> also used this rebar. I accepted the location of the 3/4" rebar as the Center of <br /> Section 16 and set witness monuments as shown. <br /> (c) In the plan view below, provide reference ties to at least 4 witness monuments. (Witness monuments shall be made of <br /> concrete, material stone, iron or other equally durable material.)
