DELIVERING MUNICIPAL ASSESSMENTS Email : Questionaaccurateassessor.com <br /> April 20, 2015 <br /> Dear Town of Pleasant Springs Property Owner: <br /> The full value maintenance calculations for all taxable real and personal property in the Town <br /> of Pleasant Springs have been completed. The purpose of this task is to have the 2015 assessment <br /> roll book show changes in property values from the prior year within the town, as well as to <br /> maintain 100%market value on all properties. <br /> Accurate Appraisal, LLC will be holding Open Book session to help property owners better <br /> understand the assessment process. We will be there to answer questions as well as provide <br /> current assessment roll books to view. The Open Book session will be held on Thursday, <br /> April 30th, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. <br /> Online scheduling is available. If you wish to meet with one of the assessors, please log on <br /> to www.accurateassessor.com and click on the online scheduling link. Next, choose the open <br /> book appointment link. Please follow the directions; the entire process should take only a few <br /> minutes. You will be prompted to enter a password for your municipality. The password is <br /> PS10. If you do not have Internet access, please call Accurate Appraisal, LLC at 1-800-770- <br /> 3927 to arrange an appointment. Please have your parcel number available when you call; <br /> this number is located under the property address on the top right side of this page. If <br /> you cannot be present at the Open Book, please call Accurate Appraisal or email us at <br /> question @accurateassessor.com with any questions you might have. <br /> If you have questions and fail to attend Open Book or Board of Review,your assessment <br /> cannot be changed later. When the Board of Review is completed, the assessments are <br /> certified and cannot be changed when tax bills come out. <br /> If you wish to object to the assessment after the Open Book sessions, contact the <br /> Clerk/Treasurer at Town Hall to file a "Form of Objection" and to schedule an appointment <br /> before the local Board of Review. You will need to file a written or oral intent to object with <br /> the Municipal Clerk at least 48 hours prior to the Board of Review. The Board of Review <br /> will be meeting at the Pleasant Springs Town Hall on Thursday, May 21St, 2015, from 5:30 <br /> p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Appearances at the Board of Review are by prior appointment only.
