Dane County Board of Supervisors <br /> Amending Chapter 10 of the Dane County Code of Ordinances <br /> Zoning Map Amendment Petition 10841 <br /> Dane County Board of Supervisors does ordain as follows: <br /> The proposed Zoning Districts Map Amendment is denied. <br /> Town Map: Town of Madison Location: Section 36 <br /> Zoning District Boundary Changes <br /> RH-1 to B-1 <br /> Part of the South 1/2 of South 1/2 of southwest 1/4 of Section 36, Town 7 North, <br /> Range 9 East, in the Township of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, described <br /> ad follows: Beginning at a point on the North line of the above mentioned South <br /> 1/2 of South 1/2 of Southwest 1/4 of said Section 36, which is 1320 feet west of <br /> the Northeast corner thereof; thence South 133 feet; thence West parallel to said <br /> North line 345.7 feet to a public highway; thence North 14,15' East along said <br /> public highway to the North line of the above mentioned South 1/2 of South 1/2 of <br /> Southwest 1/4 of said Section 36;thence East along said North line 309.5 feet to <br /> the point of beginning and Part of the South 1/2 of the South 1/2 of the <br /> Southwest 1/4 of Section 36, Township 7 North, Range 9 East, in the Township <br /> of Madison, Dane county, Wisconsin, described more fully as follows: Begining <br /> at a point 133 feet South of a iron stake which is a point on the North line of the <br /> above mentioned South 1/2 of the South 1/2 of Southwest 1/4 of said Section 36 <br /> which is 1382 feet West of the Northeast corner thereof; thence South 120.3 <br /> feet; thence West parallel to said North line 378.5 feet to a public highway; <br /> thence North 14,15' East along said public highway to a point 133 feet South of <br /> the North line of the above mentioned South 1/2 of the South 1/2 of the <br /> Southwest 1/4 of said Section 36 or the South line of the G.L. Cowan land; <br /> thence East along said line 345.7 feet to point of beginning. <br /> Reason: The area is covered by City of Fitchburg's Comprehensive Plan which is <br /> part of the Dane County Comprehensive Plan. The plan designates this area for <br /> Urban Residential Use. The proposed commercial development is inconsistent <br /> with the policies contained within the approved comprehensive plan covering this <br /> area. <br /> Denied <br />
