Streb hereby appeal to the Dane <br /> County Board of Adjustment from the decision of the Dane County Zoning Supervisor <br /> - to deny a permit to reduce required number:,of parking stalls from 73 to 41 <br /> on the following described land part of the NE 4 SE 4 of Section 35 <br /> in <br /> the Town of Madison which is located in the <br /> C-1 Zoning District. <br /> The permit was denied because 10.18 (4)(d) of the Dane County Zoning Ordinance <br /> requires that a minimum of 73 parking spaces shall be provided <br /> .The proposed building, addition or alteration will provide 12 ,000 Sq. Ft. additional <br /> shovoom space to existing 10,000 ft. of show room, and 12,000 sq. ft. <br /> additional warehouse space to existing 10,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space. <br /> L/Strict application of the provisions of the ordinance would produce undue hardship <br /> ,,, because it would cause the Owner to pay for the construction of almost <br /> twice as many parking spaces as what he needs for his business . <br /> The hardship created is unique and not shared by all properties alike in the <br /> neighborhood because the nature of the other businesses in the area is <br /> different and may have other parking needs. <br /> (../The variance would not change the character of the neighborhood because it will <br /> actually enhance the neighborhood by maintaining more green area and <br /> trees, by constructiag less paved area. <br /> ,/ I • � <br /> 'igned Appellan o,I Age! .
