ulEffiA United States Farm Dane County FSA Office
Depth-ttnent of Service 1 Fen Oak Court Room 226
Agt•iculture Agency Madison WI 53718 8812
(608)224-3767 FAX 224-3773
February 2 1998
NOTICE REGARDING ACCEPTED CRP OFFERS
Dear Mr. Gnewuch
This notice is to inform you that your offer under sign-up 16 for the
Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) has been accepted as follows:
FARM TRACT ACRES ACCEPTED
At 6416 3760 61.0 5 250
ACRE
The next step to getting an approved contract requires you to make an
appointment to visit the office. At that time, you will need to:
1. Complete a conservation plan for the CRP land for the CRP period
with MRCS or Dane County Land Conservation. If there is no
conservation plan, there will be no contract.
2. Finalize acreages. Where needed, measurement service for staking
will heed to be requested.
3. Complete payment eligibility forms for payment limitation,
sod-swampbuster, and crop insurance.
4. Complete needed farm reconstitution work if the CRP needs to be
divided off of other land or combined back with the original farm
for tobacco and AMTA purposes.
5. The same acreage cannot both be enrolled under CRP and PFC. The
total of the CRP and PFC acres on a farm cannot ekceed the total
eligible cropland on the farm. If you do not have enough avaiable
cropland to plant the PFC crop bases, the base will need to be
permanently reduced to the available cropland which cannot include
the CRP land. If all of the land is enrolled in CRP, we will have
to reduce the crop bases to 0.0.
6. Establish a Direct Deposit file. You will heed to provide us with a
voided check.
The above items will need to be completed before the County Committee can
approve the contract. Any sale of land prior to approval of the contract
will nullify the CRP offer.
We need to hear from you within 30 days of the date of this letter to set
up your appointment. .Liquidating damages equal to 25% of one years payment
will need to be assessed if you decide not to participate or if you have
not arranged for an appointment to complete the other needed documents.
Sncerely,
a?'" i-.
Roger D.
