The site plan that was provided does not meet the minimum standards. A site plan shall be to scale <br /> which shows the existing buildings, outside activity areas, and adequate drive paths and parking. It appears <br /> that the existing drive is inadequate and will need improvements in order to meet the driveway requirement and <br /> parking requirements for a daycare. The driveway and drive aisle shall be a minimum of 24 feet wide for two <br /> way traffic. There shall be a minimum of 12 spaces for the anticipated occupancy load of the building. I would <br /> suggest more parking spaces be available to avoid conflicts at peak times (drop off/ pick up). Please note that <br /> parking will be prohibited on Rustic Road. The parking area shall be designed per the requirements found <br /> under Dane County Code of Ordinance section 10.18. <br /> http://danedocs.cou ntvofdane.com/webdocs/pdf/ordinances/ord010.pdf <br /> Please provide a scaled drawing of the property showing existing/proposed buildings, driveway, parking areas, <br /> outside storage areas, outside activity areas, any exterior lighting, fences/buffers/screening, and location of <br /> proposed signs.
