COMPOSITE REPORT 8084 ITEM#2 <br /> RH-1 to LC-1 <br /> Don Keyes, owner; <br /> Sun Prairie 02 <br /> Background <br /> This 2.67 acre lot was rezoned to RH-1 Rural Homes under petition 5252, effective <br /> 04/05/1992. A 1990 plat of Survey shows a"Two-Story House"on the parcel. Don <br /> Keyes wishes to bring his existing excavating business on this parcel into compliance by <br /> rezoning the parcel to LC-1 Limited Commercial. The new district permits (as per <br /> Zoning Ordinance Section 10.141(1)): <br /> • General, mechanical [or] landscape contracting businesses and buildings used in <br /> connection with such activity; <br /> • Storage of construction equipment necessary for the operation of a contracting <br /> business with a limit of 12 items of equipment stored on each zoning lot; <br /> • Maintenance and repairs to construction equipment; <br /> • Outside storage of materials or supplies used by a contractor in fulfilling contracts <br /> and not offered for sale to a user of consumer; and <br /> • A single family residence for an owner of the business or a caretaker. <br /> Dane County Agency/Town Comments <br /> The agencies and/or local government bodies listed below have submitted the following <br /> comments regarding this petition. <br /> Dane County Highway and Transportation Department <br /> Estimate increase of 50 trips per day. <br /> Composite report for petition 8084 Page 1 of 1 <br />
