A copy
of the notice is enclosed for your information.
On April 4, 2008, at 1:00 P.M., we spoke on the phone about three possible options:
1. File a Farm Plan Application, Section 10.123(2)(c) of the DCCO, with the Dane County Zoning
Administrator for a secondary residence on the farm.
2. File a petition to rezone a portion of your land to C-1, Commercial District to change the old
home to a veterinary clinic.
3. File a zoning permit application to change the use of the old home to an accessory building.
On August 8, 2008 at 9:10 A.M. we spoke on the phone and you stated that, according to Dane County
Senior Planner, Ms. Pam Andros, option 2. was not possible. You also requested information about
how to abandon the existing septic system. I referred your question to the Dane County Sanitarian, Mr.
Jim Meyerhofer, 608-242-6515.
Section 10.25(2)(i) of the DCCO states that a permit issued pursuant to the provisions of this section
shall expire one year from the date of issuance if construction is not started within that time and will
expire if construction once started does not diligently proceed to completion within two years starting
time.
On November 11, 2008 your Dane County zoning permit, #20051390, expired.
Section 10.04(1)(a) of the DCCO states that there shall not be more than one (1)principal building on a
lot.
