week before the August Planning Committee meeting was.to be held.
At Mr Warden's suggestion, Tom Sisulak arranged for all of us to meet at the Washington Road
site and walk the land to see if this was a feasible location for an access road. This was done this
past Saturday, after which time Mr Warden came to each of our homes and discussed with us
individually what our requirements would be if this access road would be developed off
Washington Road. He was very clear and quite adamant about wanting a"perpetual easement"
so he wouldn't need to face a similar dilemma in the future. In preparation for discussions with
Mr Warden,we had contacted two attorneys, one of whom specializes in real estate,to discuss
reasonable remuneration for an easements on our land. Based on their input and the desire on Mr
Warden's part for a long-term agreement,we presented what we believe is a reasonable request
for remuneration. Our understanding is that Mr Warden had similar discussions with both Mr
Sisulak and Mr. and Mrs. Ring.
In his discussion with us,Mr Warden indicated that he felt the Washington Road access was
definitely`feasible." We agree with him. Our purpose in sharing these many details with you is
that we want you to be appraised of what has and what has not happened to resolve this dispute
since the last Planning Committee meeting. We believe there is a feasible alternatives to the
current easement through Steve Grohmann's front yard that need to be more carefully explored.
There are three neighbors who have indicated their willingness to have an access road cut across
their land, thereby eliminating the intrusive current access and significantly reducing the potential
for ongoing disturbances to neighboring homesteads. The proposal for a Washington Road
access to the tower preserves neighborhood harmony, provides much needed access for
Milwaukee Repeater, and gives Mr Grohmann back his privacy and tranquility.
cc Steve Grohmann
