Room 116, City-County Building 210 Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard AL-`= l 6 1998 Madison, Wisconsin 53709 Re: Zoning Petition#7271 Dear Mr. Gregorius, On July 21, 1998 the Pleasant Springs Town Board denied a request by Milwaukee Repeater Service for removal of a deed restriction, with the condition that it be held in abeyance. The Town Board took this action to allow further time for Milwaukee Repeater Service to find an alternate access to the tower. Milwaukee Repeater Service has shown little initiative or commitment to resolve this issue with the landowners and the Town Board in a timely manner (please refer to the attached memorandum from Jill Wheeler and Peg Close). A viable option for access has been offered to Milwaukee Repeater but they did not appear, as requested, to discuss this option with the Town Board at the August 18, 1998 Town Board meeting. On August 18, 1998 the Pleasant Springs Town Board unanimously approved a motion to once again deny zoning petition#7271 for Milwaukee Repeater Service and request that Dane County no longer hold this request in abeyance but schedule it for ordinary processing. The Town Board also requests that Dane County deny the Milwaukee Repeater request for removal of the deed restriction.
