EXHIBIT A
Notes from Rearming Process!
Chuck, Agnes and laid attended the 5/6/98 Medina town board meeting. We were given preliminary
approval to rezone the land based on approval of our application from Dane County Zoning.
Agnes Harlass and Chuck Maenner went. Into Zoning the following week. We were told it wouli go
to public hearing on 7/28198 as we had already missed the deadline for the June public hearing.
On 6/25/98, Chuck received a call from Jean Johnson, Town of Medina, stating she needed
something by 6'26/98 for the 7/1/98 Town Board Meeting from Zoning. Town informed in; some rtf the
Information on the application sent from Zoning was missing and Out petition was tabled until. August.
On 7/2/98 (?), Chuck spoke with Kris Schulte at Zoning. She said the actual application infori*tation
had not been sent to Medina. What was sent was a copy of the file, that the needed information
wasn't ready yet as it usually isn't prepared until two weeks prior to the public hearing. Kris stud
that we should attend the public hearing on 7/28, get approval front Town of Medina at their R/S
meeting, have Medina immediately fax information to Zoning and Zoning can approve at their t#/1 t
work meeting,
Chuck, Anna, and Ed attended the public hearing on 7/28/98_ There were no objections to the,,
petition, howevei, the petition could not be approved as the Town of Medina had not given its Anal
approval. The petition was postponed. •
Chuck, Anna, Agnes. and Ed attend the 8/5 Town of Medina meeting. Our application was no*?
complete. Our request for rezoning was approved by the Medina board.
