I MEMO DATE: October 20, 1998 TO: Mark Gerhardt, Badger Surveying FROM: Kris Schulte,Dane County Zoning RE: Kegonsa Joint Sanitary District Petition to Rezone Mark, I received the District's check for$135 today. I assigned a CUP number to the petition. It is now Rezone#7418 from RH-1 to R-1 with CUP #1531 for Governmental Use. See the forms enclosed. I sent a receipt and a copy of the Notice to attend the County Public Hearing form to the District office. Unfortunately, I have to tell you that you will be#4, not#1, on the agenda for the December Public Hearing, due to renumbering that occurred before the cut-off for the November meeting. Also, please note that the Committee moved the December Public Hearing up to the 15th(not the 22nd)to avoid Christmas week. I also received the written confirmation from Norb Scribner that a CSM is not required" to convey the South 50' of the parcel to a contiguous ownership" -- see copy attached. Therefore I am listing the above rezone as"DED-NO" unless you tell me otherwise. The rezoning to R-1 will not include the South 50 feet. (The legal and zoning status of the South 50 feet as a separate parcel --that is , if it is not so conveyed --was not addressed.) We should probably use the metes and bounds description from previous rezone 5065 (Null & Void) -- copy attached --unless I hear otherwise from you. Finally, I'm enclosing a copy of the instruction sheet for CUP's, which has been revised recently. Would you please provide the Written Statement (Item 3.) We might be able to use the site plan filed for the Zoning Permit to fulfill Item 4., but I was wondering if it's current, or if the District proposes any changes? Please submit the Statement and any information you may have about the Site Plan no later than November 2, 1998. Thanks for your help. Call me at 266-9084 if you have any questions.
