Would you please forward your interpretation
in writing, to my attention.
We have received a Conditional Use Permit to allow the conversion of an existing facility into a
three-unit apartment building, in a B-1 District. We understand that a Conditional Use Permit
requires the improvements to be made within one year of the approval of the Conditional Use
Permit, without jeopardizing our occupancy permit.
The question relates to one of the three units in the apartment building. Our revised application
indicated one of the three units to be a"future" efficiency apartment. We plan to convert and
modify two of the three units within that one year period. Does our"future" efficiency apartment
have to be improved within that same one year period? Since this is entirely a fund raising and
volunteer effort, we do not necessarily have the resources to improve the efficiency unit within the
one year period, and would prefer not to have to do so immediately.
Thank you, in advance, for your consideration of this important matter.
Sincerely,
HSR Associates, Inc.
. ames Gersich, AIA
Architect/Executive Vice President
