The
Breunigs recently inherited the 120+-acre Bernard&Lois Smedley farm. The agent states that"Al
will retain the workland, his brother[-in-law,Duane Wipperfurth,] will purchase the woodland and
pasture...and build a residential dwelling on the 5+-acres."
Soils: 100%Class III
Uses: 15%Pasture, 85%Woodland
REGIONAL PLANNING
Petition 7409. This site appears generally consistent with adopted town/county policies in the Town of
Roxbury.
We note the long, unusual shape of the drive to the site. The relevant policy criteria is:
"No roads or driveways shall be permitted to cross agricultural land to reach the
proposed non-farm development."
This access drive is currently a farm drive, which travels over a fairly steep terrain to reach the
proposed homesite on a wooded hillside. Since this is presently a farm drive,it does not appear to
conflict with the policy.
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (septic, etc.)
None
DANE COUNTY HIGHWAY
None
OTHER
