In contrast, 7409's proposed home site is to <br /> be built upon farmland of statewide significance, according to the <br /> maps in the Roxbury land use plan. Inasmuch as the plan includes <br /> various statements encouraging farmland preservation.... "require <br /> new development near existing development"...."discourage <br /> development in agricultural districts"...."no roads or driveways <br /> crossing agricultural land to reach non-farm development".
