April 5, 1999
Dear Dane County Zoning Board Member,
We would like to thank you for your time on Thursday, March 19 in
coming out to Roxbury to visit our property site. The rezoning of this land
has been our priority these past six months. Our intent, when we began this
process last October, was to begin building in April and with the early, dry
spring we've been blessed with, it is becoming increasingly difficult to wait.
We want to remind you and reassure you that any issues concerning
driveway placement and drainage have been resolved. Please review the
letter sent on March 2, 1999 by the town clerk Robert Pings. At the Roxbury
town meeting on the evening of March 1, all interested neighbors, lawyers
and town board members agreed, for a second time, on a plan which was
agreeable to everyone on the driveway placement. Since the Town of
Roxbury has no written driveway ordinance in place, the town's own lawyer
and the Roxbury maintenance crew's input was important. The chief
maintenance man for the town of Roxbury has been in on the planning of the
driveway since before the property was even purchased to assure the drainage
would continue to flow to the south, as it always has.
We urge you to please consider passing our rezoning petition. If you have
any further questions or concerns about this issue please contact any of the
following people as to try to get your questions answered before the meeting
on April 13. Every month the rezoning is postponed is another month of
beautiful spring building weather passing us by, another month of our family
living apart and another month of uncertainty for our family.
Sincerely,
D I '
Ervin Breunig - Town of Roxbury President 643-6584
Brian Glynn- Attorney - 643-8579
LaVern Ballweg - Town of Roxbury Maintainance Chief 643-4726
Allan Breunig - previous land owner 643-3844
Duane or Lynn Wipperfurth - current land owner 643-8187
