Lyle Updike indicated that he was more sympathetic to the commercial and <br /> residential mix because of the existing low density. During the discussion a fax from <br /> Ann Stauffacher was read, indicating that they are not in favor of the commercial use. Gillham,section 20 Petitioner not prepared. <br /> Consider Preliminary Plans by Starr Watson,section This item is a continuation of <br /> the discussion regarding creating 4 lots on Vernig Road. Dick,of Birrenkott Surveying, <br /> presented a site topography map showing the low spots on the existing Vernig Road and <br /> the water drainage in the area and as it relates to the lots in the city. There was discussion <br /> about the need for culverts under Vernig Road. Developers are responsible for new road <br /> construction,however it was noted that this is an existing road. Alvin road was <br /> reconstructed by cost sharing of three parties. (two developer groups and the Town). In <br /> order to have four duplexes there would need to be a variance from lot size requirement. <br /> The chairman indicated that at that time a road development plan should also be <br /> presented. No action was taken,however the consensus of the board was that having four <br /> lots would be acceptable. <br /> Consider and Take Action re: Applications for Operator Licenses Moved by John <br /> Blaska,second by Vernon Pogue to approve granting of operator licenses for the - <br /> following pending filing of the bartender awareness class certificate. Motion carried. <br /> Consider and Take Action re: County Ordinance Amendment#6 Amendment to <br /> chapter 10 of the Dane County Ordinances would establish residences as a conditional <br /> use in the C-2 commercial zoning district. Presently these uses are not permitted in the <br /> C-2 district. Moved by John Blaska, second by Lyle Updike to disapprove ordinance <br /> amendment#6. Motion carried. Letter referencing chapter 10 disfunctionality will be <br /> included with the response form. <br /> Audit and Pay Bills The Board reviewed the listing of invoices. Moved by Vernon <br /> Pogue, second by Lyle Updike to approve payment of the bills. Motion carried. Invoices <br /> included final payment to W.K. Construction. <br />
