4Y- ;1 f Dane County Planning & Development <br /> 1 ` �!% Zoning Division <br /> ZONING PERMIT INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS <br /> The Dane County Zoning Ordinance provides that o inspections shall be made by the Zoning Division. <br /> Instructions are as follows: <br /> 1. The permit card shall be posted on the premise before any earth disturbing activity is started. <br /> 2. The owner or agent shall have all lot corners vi ibly staked prior to requesting an inspection.The Zoning <br /> Inspector shall not be responsible for determining t e location of lot lines. Please be advised that zoning <br /> inspections are made in reliance upon your correct dentification of property boundaries and lot lines. <br /> 3. FIRST INSPECTION: <br /> a. Is a location survey required? No <br /> If yes a first inspection phone call request is not required. Please arrange to have a copy of the survey <br /> delivered to our department prior to any nstruction above the foundation. <br /> b If no. the owner or agent shall request the first inspection when the foundation or basement walls have <br /> been constructed. Footings only are not considere•"a foundation.The locational extent of the permitted structure <br /> must be identifiable at the time of the first inspectio . Construction may continue only after an inspection has been <br /> requested. <br /> 4 SECOND INSPECTION: Shall be requested w en the building is substantially completed.
