DANE COUNTY PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
Planning Division Staff Comments
Petition No. 7471—Barsness Public Hearing Date: 2/23/99
Section 16, Town of Black Earth
figg""
F •. _
,
1
ftalphBanes;s
1J F
thbril
e Si
ez. j "\ * Sy : v:,..*.v 17 acres ,\ ,
Vg
s• .ra,
y _..
1.
mnay I Marlin Brenda&Marlin
schoeneem Barsness Barsness
According to the Land Review Officer, this is one "substandard" parcel (2 to 35 acres).
The applicable policies of the Town Plan for this type of parcel would be to allow for the
creation of one residential dwelling lot. The same parcel had several similar previous
petitions (#6829 and#7323)that were not approved.
Please, for further clarification, refer to the RPC comments on this petition as well as the
memo by Norbert Scribner on the original petition#6829.
For your information, find also attached, several documents submitted by the Town of
Black Earth (town action report, a resolution and a memorandum) stating the position of
the town, which is clearly asking for approval of the current petition, in spite of its non-
compliance with the current policies of the town plan.
