This proposed commercial expansion is within the Cambridge urban service <br /> { area; however, no urban services are proposed. <br /> This proposal appears to conflict with the following policy of the Dane County Farmland <br /> Preservation Plan: "Unsewered residential or commercial development should not be <br /> permitted in areas where towns have planned future sewered development." <br /> The reason for this county policy is simply that development in urban service areas should <br /> have urban services. If low-density development is proposed that does not require urban <br /> services, it should not be approved to occupy space in an urban service area where much <br /> higher density development is intended. <br /> If there is some agreement between Christiana and Cambridge over this proposed <br /> development, there needs to be protection of the eastern end of this site which-is low and <br /> flows directly into Koshkonong Creek. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (septic, etc.) <br /> DANE COUNTY HIGHWAY <br /> OTHER <br />
