Please specify: <br /> Please note: The following space is reserved for comment by the minority voter(s), OR, for the Town to explain its <br /> approval if the decision does not comply with the relevant provisions of the Town Plan. <br /> The initial application was for a rezone to A-2(1)with a CUP for seasonal storage of recreational equipment. The Plan Commission denied the <br /> rezone because it conflicted with the Towns Comp Plan and recommended against the CUP. At the August 3rd Town Board meeting,Mr.Staudt <br /> withdrew his request for a CUP but still wanted the rezone. The Town Board denied it because it conflicted with the Towns comp plan,and <br /> suggested that he could put up an accessory building under his current R-2 zoning to store his tractor. When I reported this to Roger Lane,he <br /> pointed out that R-2 would not allow a tall enough building,and thought the county would be OK with rezoning to A-2(1)if the Town was since the <br /> current use of surrounding land is agriculture.
