This proposed mini-warehouse location appears to conflict with town/county <br /> agricultural policies in the Town of Dane. <br /> The proposed site is a remnant parcel as a result of the recent reconstruction of this intersection of STH <br /> 113 and CTH P and V. It is approximately 1/2 mile west of the Village of Dane. The site is surrounded <br /> by farms and farmland. <br /> The relevant policy for this area is: "Only such commercial and industrial development as is needed to <br /> support existing agricultural activities,where it will not result in environmental degradation or conflict <br /> with farming operations,will be allowed." <br /> Mini-warehouses are not typically ag-related businesses nor needed to support agricultural activities. <br /> There appears to be a rationale for an ag-related use,but not mini-warehouses. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (septic. etc.) <br /> None <br /> DANE COUNTY HIGHWAY <br /> Petition 7181. CTH `V"and CTH `P"are both non-controlled access highways. The State <br /> has access control along the newly constructed portion of CTH `P". Directly across from <br /> CTH `V"would be the only place available for access. An access permit will be required. <br /> OTHER <br />
