06/05/98 11:09 FAX 608 274 7905 MAD INVEST ADVIS G 002
To: Norb Scribner
From: Frank Burgess
Re: Request for assi stance
Zoning Petition#7183
After our matter was postponed at a recent ZNR Committee meeting,I talked with Brian
Standing about our rezor ing application. As you might remember,it involved a five foot access
between the east and West portions of our proposed lot in the Town of Verona. I've attached a
copy of the Report and a copy of the first CSM draft.
In visiting with Brian, and after chatting with you very briefly that night, it appears we
have two alternatives. first,we could amend our current application to change the 5 foot access
to 66 feet, contingent on amending the proposed CSM to do so. Second,we could break this
into two lots, at the 5 fo<it break point then zone the new lot Conservancy. In either event, the
old Lot 2(CSM 8479),which is being reduced from 12 acres to 4.5 acres, would be rezoned
RH3 to RH2 as requeste 3 originally.
Brian suggested that before deciding which approach to take,I should double check with
you to determine if tberE:are any platting implications by adding this new Conservancy lot. As
you are probably familif r with the"history" of the overall parcel(in both Middleton and
Verona),Brian felt that you would be able to interpret the situation to see if there were any other
implications to the creat ion of another lot.
Obviously,I thi tk everyone, including me,would be happiest if it could be zoned
conservancy..., as sugg:sted both by staff and members of the Committee. I would be happy to
visit on the phone or stc p down and meet with you. Please let me know. I can be reached at
274-0300 or Brian could e-mail me at frank(cimadisonadv.com.
Thanks for you•help.
