The Board <br /> is surprised to find this is a controversial item. The current owners are requesting <br /> this split in order to build a duplex for their own use. The town has approved duplexes <br /> in A-1 districts in the past and do not have a problem in doing so. Please refer to Petition <br /> #5530 passed by the Dane County Board of Supervisors on February 18, 1993 for <br /> Reginald Kalscheur. Thi: was the same circumstance, A-I land being rezoned to <br /> accommodate a duplex or R-3A parcel for the current owner. The Town does not <br /> have a problem with coup ting it as one or two splits. <br /> Bearing all that in mind, ye ask that the Committee approve this rezone petition as one split ai.d <br /> allow the R-3A rezone to allow a duplex.
