RH-1 permits one <br /> animal unit per full acre,with an animal unit equal to one horse or cow, 10 sheep or goats, 4 hogs, 100 <br /> chickens or rabbits,or a combination thereof. The Statz's want to raise a few sheep. The Statz's own <br /> another legal non-conforming lot(Lot 1, CSM 995 -- 1+acre)adjacent to this one,which would remain A- <br /> 1EX. <br /> REGIONAL PLANNING <br /> Petition 7244. Rezoning of this existing 3.10 acre parcel to RH-2 appears consistent with town/county <br /> policies in the Town of Berry. <br /> The only caution is that, while the RH-1 will allow keeping of livestock(one animal unit per acre), <br /> most of the adjoining lots will not be allowed to keep livestock due to their size and/or zoning. This <br /> request is apparently to allow sheep;however, if there is no condition placed on the rezoning, any <br /> livestock could be kept here. <br /> Due to the unique configuration of this area,there are six adjoining lots.
