We would like to build <br /> an addition to our home which would encroach on the back lot line in its presenter - V f <br /> zoning. We are requesting the approval to be rezoned to R2 to alleviate this problem. <br /> With our remodeling plan, we would be 35 feet from the back lot line at its closest point, <br /> the side lot distances would remain the same. At present the side lot lines are 21.5 feet <br /> from the house on either side. There are other lots in our neighborhood with the R2 <br /> zoning as well. <br /> Attached you will find a copy of the portion of the plat map that includes our lot--we <br /> are in the Second Addition of Mary Lake, Lot 150. I have drawn our house on the lot in <br /> solid lines to indicate how our house presently sits on the lot. The dotted lines would be <br /> the addition. The measurements indicate the distances to the lot line if we would build our <br /> addition.
