• <br /> • <br /> TOWN OF MONTROSE <br /> LAND USE COMMITTEE <br /> Meeting Report <br /> June 3, 1997 <br /> PRESENT: Robert Pauli, John Sayles, Farres Harrison, absent; Harold Nolden. <br /> MAY HEARING ITEMS. <br /> Request by Kelsch Machine to rezone 0.76 acres in Sec. 10 from A-1 Ex. to C-2. <br /> SITE VISIT: <br /> The board waived the site visit as all members were familiar with the site. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: KELSCH <br /> The Kelsch Machine Company wishes to add 0.76 acres of the Lester Palmer farm to the <br /> back of the lot they presently own. This acreage is needed to allow a fire lane to circle the <br /> building and to put in a loading dock. <br /> IN FAVOR: Bruce Kiesling President Kelsch Machine <br /> Barb and Lester Palmer <br /> OPPOSED: none <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Robert Pauli moved to grant the request. The change is within the scope of the land use <br /> plan and does not disrupt existing traffic patterns, it is the expansion of an existing C-2 site <br /> and in an appropriate place for commercial development on a major highway. <br /> Farres Harrison seconded. <br /> Motion passed 3-0. <br /> John Sayles <br /> Chairman <br />
