Box 673 • Marshall, WI 53559 • (608)655-3963 November 26,1997 Dear Dane Caounty Board: Attached is an aerial view of our proposed neighborhood. I have highlighted what I deem as the important points to note. Tom Finkler expressed concern about the traffic past his house but had no objection to the presence of the facility itself as evidenced by his willingness to sell us property in his own back yard. The majority of my clients are located in Marshall, Waterloo and Sun Prairie. Highway 19 is the road that most people will use to get to me. Mr. Finkler should experience very little actual traffic change. I have consulted Dan Birrenkott regarding Betty Qmeg's concerns about the water table and her septic system. It is his feeling that our construction plans will not change the drainage pattern that has existed there for the thirty years she's lived there and the amount of water generated by the facility itself will not cause flooding alone. I also consulted the owners of both Camp CAnine and Hickory Hills Kennels, two prominent kennels in Dane County regarding their waste removal systems. They have both used a combination of holding tanks and garbage trucks to dispose of the solid waste. They are not aware of any regulations regarding urine.
